Brainwork and research
In addition to our insatiable appetite for reading, thinking about and promoting reading is the engine of our daily routine. Therefore, we are always looking for new affiliations with researchers and we work together with universities.
The Reading Association takes stock of national and international research. Each year, it awards the Reading Association Thesis prize to a final dissertation on reading and the promotion of reading. Once a year, our thoughts about reading and its promotion are inspired by a special guest speaker invited for The Lecture. In 2008, the British Author Jonathan Coe was our guest. In the Reading Minds series, we export some interesting ideas on culture from our Dutch language area.
